Vertebrae II ( ghosts haunt my bones)

Ghosts haunt my bones,
calcified memories of queens and heroes...

when I was 5  I climbed onto the top of concrete block walls,
and ruled over fences, fruit trees and neighbours'  yards,

fearlessly fighting my own monsters,
and singing jubilantly to conquered, cloud giants,
bones filled with silver thread, my courage was boundless.
